AI-powered codebase intelligence

Documatics is an AI-powered solution built on the Mylly.AI platform that automatically analyses and documents source code. It reduces dependency on key individuals, speeds up supplier changeovers and supports the preparation of ERP migrations.

How Documatics works

1. Source code is imported in as ZIP packages (Git repositories, from CI/CD pipelines or manually)
2. The AI analyses the code and generates documentation: architecture diagrams, API maps and process flows
3. Users can query the codebase in natural language and receive answers grounded in the source code.

Answers are always grounded in the actual source code. Every answer includes the relevant file paths and line references.

Key use cases

• Supplier changeovers. Tacit knowledge is transformed into validated documentation before changing suppliers. No more “only one person knows how this works” situations.
• ERP migrations. Business logic and customisations are documented before migration (for example to S/4HANA). The documentation provides the foundation for simplification and for designing the new solution.
• Reducing key-person risk. Critical system knowledge is captured in validated documentation that can be maintained over time.
